Name: Tasha Nassar
Age: Forget your age/time so you can feel young forever.
Your sign: Aries, Leo rising. I’m all fire.
Where are you from? Egyptian background, living in Australia.
Where are you going? These days I stay in the now, however I do have a trip to the states next month to teach and run retreats for women.
Can you tell us about your work?
I always laugh when I get asked this because I still don’t know how to define my work. I have always just known I am a healer. I connect with one’s soul and feel what they are experiencing to guide them through their next steps. Every session is different, as every soul is. I’ll have sessions where it’s energy work, shadow work, intuitive readings, exercises or simply just holding space with love.
How did you first discover some of your many spiritual gifts?
As a child I was extremely intuitive and knew things about people without knowing them. I also remember knowing situations would take place before they happened.
Do you have any advice for others on how to tap into their gifts?
My biggest advice on this would be to trust yourself more. Trust that voice that you ignore because you think it’s crazy. It’s not.
What types of healing interests you? Is there any that helped you a lot on your journey?
I don’t believe there is one healing process better than the other, I believe the one you are meant to experience on your journey will call out to you at the right time for you. For me, shadow work helped me a lot on my journey. Meditation is something I also believe helped bring stillness into my busy world.
Do you have any other passions that you pursue or would like to?
I am always thinking of different projects that I would love to pursue, my mind doesn’t seem to stop with that. But I would love to write a series of books for children.
What makes you feel the happiest?
I am happiest when I am centered, grateful and witnessing miracles of everyday life. Living and breathing my soul’s purpose makes me happy, seeing people transform their lives and take the time for their selves is something beautiful to witness.
What do you do to stay feeling grounded and connected?
Meditation is something I make sure to do every day. It’s a chance to connect within. Spending time with Mama nature keeps me grounded. I find the most clarity in nature.
What are your superpowers?
My intuition. Being able to connect to souls and having a heart that can fit the entire Universe in it.
What’s on your music playlist?
My mother always made us listen to different genres growing up so you will find everything and anything on mine; MJ, Prince, Hendrix, Stevie Wonder, Kanye, Drake, See.Francis, Dipset etc.
What makes you feel the healthiest in your body?
When I am living through my heart instead of my mind.
What do you do to treat yourself?
Alone time where I can do things like pamper myself, relax, read and create whatever my heart desires in that time. As a healer I find it important to also get healing sessions and I always treat myself to massages around the Full Moon as I transmute a lot of energy around that time.
What is your best advice for loving yourself?
Love lives in your heart, return home and live from there.
Who inspires you and why?
I find inspiration in everything and everyone I come in contact with. I really do believe every person that comes into your life has a message or a key for you to acknowledge. Special acknowledgments to Hasnaa, she inspires me every single day by simply being, Jackie reminds me how many miracles happen in every moment and of my niece Ayda who I call my magic wand because she teaches me so much.
Has learning to accept yourself been a journey for you or has it come naturally?
It has definitely been a journey but something that has become more natural these days which I am so grateful for.
What are you most grateful for learning?
I am grateful for learning what is meant for me will never miss me. Trusting the bigger picture and knowing that whatever I am going through is just a stepping stone. This brings me a lot of peace.
What would you tell your younger self?
To always be true to yourself, to know yourself and that there is nothing wrong with who you are. I would also tell her that she is always safe, loved and protected.
