Name: Sally Mustang

Age: 27

Your sign: Taurus

Where are you from? Byron Bay, Australia

Where are you going? Everywhere

How did you get your start as an artist?

From a child I was obsessed with colour and creating. But professionally I have been an artist for 4 years now.

Do you have any other passions that you pursue?

Writing, photography and I’m also a yoga teacher.

What has helped you on your path to healing and finding yourself?

Definitely yoga and meditation, travel, and love.

What makes you feel the happiest?

Exploring outdoors, hiking for days with only a backpack and your survival instincts.

What do you do to stay feeling grounded and connected?

I try to get out in nature as much as possible. Most mornings I watch the sun rise and I like to get in the garden too.

What are your superpowers?

Manifestation. I often dream something and it comes true.

Your go-to meal?

A curry or fruit.

Who inspires you and why?

Just anyone shining and loving life.

What’s on your music playlist?

I love older music that I listened to while growing up. The Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin.

What makes you feel the healthiest in your body?

When I’m jogging a lot and doing yoga everyday. Eating well and just in general being conscious about my health.

What do you do to treat yourself?

I love going out to dance!

What is your best advice for loving yourself?

Spending time each day with your body, mind and spirit. Understanding yourself and expressing yourself unapologetically.

Has learning to accept yourself been a journey for you or has it come naturally?

It has been a bit of both, since being little I had a really ‘who cares’ kind of attitude and a lot of energy. It’s been a journey to harness that attitude and energy into creating good in the world.

What are you most grateful for learning?

Oh the list is so big, I’m grateful I guess to still be learning!

What would you tell your younger self?

That everything is going to turn out better then you could ever imagine!
