Ibiza is a magical little island off the coast of mainland Spain that is mainly known for its party culture, but has another side to it that goes back to its original hippie roots. Looking past the night clubs and party-goers, you will find a quaint countryside scattered with health retreats, organic farms, and amazing restaurants with freshly grown food all made with love.
The island draws an eclectic crowd of people there as well, which can especially be seen during the off-season. Artists, healers, musicians and free spirited types all gather for sunset drumming parties, plant medicine ceremonies, and nature exploration.
I got to call Ibiza home for a few years, and recently went back this past winter for a visit to reconnect with it. It was so special to be there without all of the summer time craziness and its chill vibes made for the perfect place to cozy up and get creative. Days were filled with lazy mornings, music making, nature walks, lots of eating, and of course, many siestas.
