GETTING IT DONE WITH MAMA SOLARIS

Sia, also known as Mama Solaris, is an energy reader, intuitive, and guide that is also a single mother to a toddler. She shares her gifts through intuitive coaching, online courses, a podcast, and through video with her spot-on energy reports.

I’ve been following Sia’s journey online for a couple years now, and this young mama never ceases to amaze me with the constant stream of work she puts out there, and the beautiful life she has created for herself and her son. I thought it would be inspiring to find out some more about how she gets it done behind the scenes, and what keeps her motivated. Read on for more!

Can you tell us a bit about your morning routine and how it sets the tone for your day?

Most mornings I like to wake up a couple hours before my son, Sage, at 7am. I meditate, write down my tasks and plans for the day, and set my intentions. I then usually drink something warm and nourishing like shilajit, tea, or just warm water with lemon. This cleanses my body and gets my digestion flowing. I’ll then begin answering emails, constructing planetary updates for my patrons on Patreon, and then get started on my work for the day until my son wakes up around 9am.

My morning routine is very important to me although I like to remember that I am human, and can’t do it every single morning. But either way, I always have some kind of ritual to begin my day. It’s important because it gets me in the right state of mind to do the work that I do. It takes constant work on myself to be able to help others. I’m able to keep my peace and stay centered a lot easier when I do my rituals.

How do you maintain your positive mood throughout the day?

I maintain a positive mood throughout the day by being intentional about everything. Everywhere I look, there’s something that reminds me how blessed I am. My son is the most important person in my life, and seeing him laugh and learn every day is typically enough to keep my spirits up. But even when I log onto social media, it’s filled with people winning at life, motivating and inspiring myself and others. I see people that I love doing great things and that makes me happy. I spend a lot of time dancing, listening to music, and learning. I’m very intentional about creating beauty in my life through ritual, and after years of spiritual practice I’ve become very good at staying positive. With that, I like to also honor the fact that I won’t always feel great. But 90% of the time, I do. And I’m pretty proud of that.

What’s best your best advice for getting through the difficult moments in life?

Getting through difficult moments has been something I’ve become really good at doing. I go through more than people know, and so I’ve learned the best way to get through hard times is by honoring my emotions. I’m allowed to be angry, sad, frustrated, and triggered. When I feel triggered, I give myself enough time to feel through it. I reach out to people I love and trust and express my feelings to them. And once I’ve allowed my emotions to be felt and lose momentum, I remember how grateful I am for everything that’s going well in my life. I really do live a blessed life, and while I do honor my sadness when it arises, I try to remember to focus on how much beauty I’ve created for myself and my son.

What keeps you inspired to keep going?

My son is my biggest source of inspiration. I have goals for him. I want to show him that I can support us by doing what I love. I know he watches me every day and learns more from what he sees me do than what I try to teach him. So when I feel down, I just remember that. I also just love what I do. Helping others brings me so much joy and passion. Just the simple fact of knowing that thousands people watch me every day and look up to me as an example is enough to keep me inspired. It inspires me to inspire others to create better lives for themselves.

Do you have any advice for those of us that want to start a new project, or take a leap to follow our dreams?

It’s gonna feel scary at first. You’re not gonna feel ready. You may feel like you don’t have enough knowledge or expertise in your field. But I can assure you, you do. You have something that someone needs, and they can’t have access to that if you don’t offer it. Taking that first leap is always the hardest step, but know that it does get easier. As you start gaining momentum, you’ll realize why you do what you do. The best way to learn about how to practice in your field is by actually doing it. I become a better coach every single day by working with real people. You can spend as much time as you want studying, but the best way to be great at what you do is by putting yourself out there and doing the work!
