“Self care is not selfish, it’s a necessity! My favourite forms of self care include a sweaty hot yoga class, an Epsom salt bath by candle light and a good face mask. I like to keep the products I use on my face as natural and organic as possible, which is why I love DIY face masks! This face mask is designed to remove dirt from your pores, balance oily skin and deep cleanse your skin.

To make your own charcoal face mask, you’ll need the following:

2 tbsp bentonite clay
1 tsp activated charcoal
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
+ warm water to mix all the ingredients together to create a paste

Leave on for 10 minutes, and wipe off with a warm, wet wash cloth.

Note: Do not mix together the paste with anything metal! The metal will react with the clay, reducing its healing properties. opt for a wooden spoon and glass or ceramic bowl instead.”
